Weight Loss Efforts – Dos and Don’ts
Do not just apply for a weight loss program because you felt like you need to get slimmer. This may result in excessive weakness and fatigue. Instead, consult your physician first to check if you need to join a weight loss program.
Do not stop eating meals straightaway. Eat slowly and avoid heavy foods. You can use liquids like juices instead of milk and fat based products as and when required. You can cut down on bulk food.
Do not suffer hunger pangs. This is related to the above. You need to eat less and at frequent intervals. However, make sure you do not grab a pizza as soon as you feel hungry. It is better to checkout some fruit salad.
Do not eat anything for a few hours before you go to bed. Instead, eat early and spend few hours watching TV or reading a book. Going out with your pet is also a good idea.
Do not assume that you will lose weight overnight and do not attempt to join any of such programs. Weight loss is a process that takes time to show up results.
